The Pre-School Coffee Morning is not far away and we would like to combine this with a small fundraising event. We are very aware that if your pre-school child has older siblings you are frequently asked for donations, contributions and efforts towards fundraising events; for this reason we select small charities for which small donations could make a big difference. This Coffee Morning we will be collecting for Crackerjacks; a charity which provides ‘respite breaks and specialist equipment to families for children who are differently able’ “Crackerjacks Children’s Trust believes that every child, whatever their needs, has the right to participate fully in their community and to have the same choices, opportunities and experiences as other children, to make local friends, and to access, play, leisure and recreational facilities” ( https://www.crackerjacks.org.uk/ ) The theme for the morning will be Pirate Dressing-up. If your child would like to dress up they are more than welcome. If you do not have a pirate costume we have plenty in the setting and if your child would rather not dress up, or prefers to wear any other costume, that is also welcome.
